In addition, we are collaborating with the future leaders in our Pantherz ZClub and Flatirons Golden ZClub on advocacy-driven service projects.
Next year will be a pivotal election year for our state and our country - the outcomes will influence the entire globe. Issues affecting women and girls like climate equity, gender-based violence and women’s reproductive healthcare rights will be tested. We plan to support legislation and influence our elected representatives to further these goals. Our Z Club members will be critical partners in this advocacy helping to increase voter registration among their peers and potentially work with organizations like New Era on voter registration. We intend to strengthen Zonta’s voice in our community and position ourselves as key partners for elected representatives, community leaders, service organizations, and others who share our mission to make the world a better place for women and girls.
The Zonta Foothills Advocacy Committee will:

Develop and provides resources for members to be effective advocates in their communities.
Work with the District Advocacy Committee and Club Service Committee; others as needed.
Collaborate with other like-minded organizations on issues that affect the lives of women and girls in our community.
