Community Service

Zontians support many local women through donations and service hours to community non-profits. Here are just a few of the projects from this past year.

Free libRARIES

Through our free libraries at the Emergency Family Assistance Association (EFAA), Community Food Share, Sister Carmen and The Our Center, we have contributed over 60,000 books toward family literacy in Boulder County.

We accept donations of gently used books for all ages, and deliver them on a regular basis to ensure that there is plenty of reading pleasure for local families. In 2023 alone we collected and distributed more than 2,500 books for kids, teens and adults.

Hygiene Product Drive

With members of our Z Clubs, Zonta Foothills members collected more than 650 pounds of femine hygiene products, diapers, soap, tooth paste, paper goods and other products for Emergency Family Asistance Association.

Zontians at share-a-gift

Since 2011 Zontians have been out in force at Share-A-Gift, a holiday toy shop for Boulder County families in need. With members of our PantherZ Z club and our Flatirons Golden Z Club we feel the joy of the holidays each and every year.
